Ridley Park is Blyth's most active, open-space - free for everyone, 24 hours a day, all-year-round
Ridley Park has activities for all ages, on-site food and drink and events taking place throughout the year.
The Friends of the Park are an informal group who meet with local authorities to discuss changes and improvements within Ridley Park and they've created this site to help promote the park and ensure it remains Blyth's most vibrant open-space

Ridley Park offers a wide range of activities including...
WaterPlay/Playgrounds
The Water Play Area is open all Summer and attracts people from a wide area!
It's surrounded by 2 Playgrounds (suitable for Toddlers/Young Children and Older Children respectively) as well as loads of space for picnics!
Tennis, Bowls and Putt
Ridley Park offers 2 enclosed Tennis Courts, a Putting Green and a Bowling Green
Courts can be booked, clubs/balls hired from Ivy at the Park Cafe
Walking, Running, Cycling
Ridley Park forms a tiny part of Sustrans National Cycle Route 1
The Park is also popular with walkers (with and without dogs!) and runners of all ages!
Food and Drink
Ivy at the Park is a cafe based in the old bowling pavilion. Opened in 2010 it offers sit-in/outside and take-away food and drinks - from their signature coffee to a three-course meal!
Ivy at the Park can also arrange parties indoors or outdoors - Ridley Park makes a perfect location for any occasion!
An Ice-Cream van visits the park regularly, find them between the playparks and the waterplay
Ridley Park also has loads of free space/benches, ideal for a snack or picnic - and loads of bins for your empties, please use them and keep Ridley Park clean and tidy!
